We are proud to contribute to the success of the Feng Miao Offshore Wind Farm Project in Taichung, Taiwan, by supplying our premium bentonite TIXOBENT SQ, to support offshore HDD works. Fengmiao 1 offshore wind project in Taiwan, which will feature Vestas 15 MW turbines. Fengmiao I is the first offshore wind project in Taiwan that will deliver much-needed clean energy to large energy users in Taiwan. This sets a new benchmark for Taiwan’s rapidly maturing offshore wind market under the government’s Energy Transition 2.0 policy
This renewable energy project involved two crossings of 1,750 meters. Our drilling fluid solutions ensured ground stability and smooth execution under challenging marine conditions of sand and clay soils.
