Bentonite Slurry Project in Thailand
Diaphragm Wall in Thailand
Bentonite Slurry Utilized for Bangkok's MRT Purple Line Project
The MRT Purple Line in Bangkok, also known as the Purple Line, is a significant mass transit route in the city. Stretching approximately 23 kilometers, it connects the northern and western parts of Bangkok, running from Khlong Bang Phai in Nonthaburi Province to Tao Poon. Tao Poon Station is a pivotal interchange station where the Purple Line intersects with the Blue Line (MRT Blue Line), providing seamless connectivity to various parts of the city.
With a total of 16 stations, the Purple Line serves both residential and commercial areas. It is operated by the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and plays a crucial role in enhancing transportation accessibility and reducing traffic congestion in the western and northern regions of Bangkok. Bentonite SF4 used for the installation of diaphragm walls and barrette piles for the elevated mass transit in Bangkok. Opting for barrette technology, instead of bore piles, emerges as the ideal choice for construction work along the congested route near Parliament Station, which will be part of the soon-to-be-opened MRT Purple Line.
